The Challenge

The design brief presented a unique challenge in seamlessly arranging an office environment over two levels while ensuring a balance of functionality and productivity. Intex Building Group, a renowned leader in supplying building and construction materials, sought a solution that would foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, while also providing privacy when needed. It was crucial to find an innovative approach that would promote a sense of synergy and cohesiveness within the workforce, reflecting the company’s strong foundations in the construction supply industry.

The Solution

Intex International is the remarkable result of this challenge, where form meets function in perfect harmony. The deliberate spatial arrangement emphasises spatial efficiency and mobility, allowing for a seamless operational flow. By combining office and warehouse areas, Intex Building Group has created a truly unique environment that promotes collaboration and enhances productivity.

Our design concept embraces creativity and wellbeing, featuring thoughtfully placed meeting, working, and breakout spaces that create a hierarchy of transparency, acoustics, and functionality. Natural materials, including wood, stone, and greenery, infuse warmth and an inviting atmosphere throughout the space, fostering creativity and comfort for employees and visitors alike.

Notably, Intex International sets a new benchmark for sustainability by incorporating an FSC certified Maxiply gridded ceiling system. This innovative feature not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the office but also contributes to reducing emissions, showcasing Intex Building Group’s commitment to a more sustainable future.
